In Flight Video

In flight videos are created using multiple video cameras supported on a ergonomic mannequin
placed in the spare seat. This provides a safe, stable platform that can be used in most 2
(or more) seat aircraft. Within the aircraft, 3 or 4 video cameras simultaneously film:

  • the PIC controlling the stick / control column,

  • the instrument panel,

  • main view outside and

  • possibly the rudder pedals

  • view of T/O and landing (subject to a suitable vantage point being accessible)

With 3 or 4 views being filmed simultaneously, the control inputs of the PIC are visible in the view of the PIC and directly illustrated in the pitch attitude / bank view outside the windscreen and on the instruments, especially the ASI, Altimeter, VSI and AH (if fitted). View sample here

In flight videos can:

  • complement your flight training program - use videos of your own aircraft & instructors to illustrate / reinforce the techniques your flight school promotes. Create separate videos to illustrate circuits, navigational exercises, spin recovery etc

  • showcase your training / hire aircraft  - create a video of each of the
    training / hire aircraft on your flight line.

  • provide private pilots with a DVD video memento of their flying & aircraft -

Pricing above is based on a 20-25 minute flight from engine start to engine stop, a short introduction to the a/c and includes:

  •  three views (View out, view of instruments and view of PIC). View of T/O & landing is subject to a suitable vantage point being accessible.
  • an edited DVD
  • two 400x225 pixel files (QuickTime & Windows Media) for uploading to a website
