The four video clips on this mini site detail the experiences of FT LT Tom Russell in the

Western Desert during the Second World War.  Tom flew in North Africa against Rommell

and Mussolini in P-40 Kittyhawks. He trained in Tiger Moths at Narromine and finished the

war as an Instructor on P-51 Mustangs. Flew as wing man for his C.O. – WG CMDR
